🕊️ गोलोकाच्या वाटेवर — On the Path to Golok

स्वर्गी सुख,

पाताळी दुःख,

भुवर सुख-दुःखाचा फेरा।

→ In heaven there is only happiness,

in the underworld there is only sorrow,

and on Earth there is a constant cycle of joy and pain.

स्वर्गात पुण्य,

पाताळात पाप,

भुवर कर्तव्याचा वेढा घेरा।

→ In heaven dwell those with good deeds,

in the underworld are those burdened by sin,

and on Earth, we live surrounded by duties and responsibilities.

स्वर्ग-पातळी आयुष कोटी कोटी वर्षे,

भेट तुझी-माझी कठीण वाटे।

→ The lifespans in heaven and hell last millions of years,

So meeting You (the Divine) is extremely difficult.

भूवरी नियम सोपे,

आयुष फक्त शंभर,

हे लोक मला स्वर्गाहून श्रेष्ठ भासे।

→ Here on Earth, the rules of life are simple,

our lifespan only about a hundred years,

yet this world seems greater than heaven — because from here I can reach You sooner.

कर्म-कर्तव्य तुला अर्पण करून,

तुझ्या गोड नावात रमते,

आपोआप नसले तरी सारे सहज होते।

→ When I dedicate my work and duty to You,

and immerse myself in Your sweet name,

everything — even the difficult — becomes effortless.

मनी नाही अपेक्षा चिंता,

सुख-दुःख ही संपले,

पावन तुझी मूर्ती हृदय-मंदिरात वसे।

→ Now my mind holds no desires or worries,

joy and sorrow have both faded away,

for Your pure image resides in the temple of my heart.

आता कुणी रुसत नाही,

नाही कुणी डिवचत,

सर्वांना तुझे मंगल रूप दिले कसे?

→ Now no one gets angry,

no one provokes me —

how have You blessed everyone with Your auspicious divine form?

नाही मागची आठवण,

उदयासाठी साठवण नाही,

फक्त तुझ्या भेटीची आसच उरली।

→ I have no memories of the past,

nor any plans stored for the future,

only the longing to meet You remains.

तुझे नाव इतके गोड,

कितीही घेतले तरी,

मन सतत घेतच आहे।

→ Your name is so sweet,

no matter how many times I chant it,

my heart wants to keep chanting endlessly.

आईने मोदक भरवले,

पण त्याची गोडी मला,

तुझ्या नावा पुढे क्षारच वाटे।

→ Even the sweet modak my dear mother fed me

feels bland,

compared to the sweetness of Your divine name.

माझे भाव फक्त तुझी भक्ती,

मांगणी फक्त श्रीसेवा दास्यभक्ती,

ध्यान फक्त गो-लोकाचे।

→ My emotions are devoted only to Your worship,

my only request is to serve You as Your humble devotee,

and my meditation is fixed only on Golok — Your eternal abode.

या लोकी असे कार्य व्हावे,

माझे बेचाळीशी उधारावे,

तुझ्या गो-क्षेत्री सहज प्रवेश मिळावे।

→ May I perform such deeds in this world

that free me from all worldly debts,

and grant me easy entry into Your divine Golok realm.

जिथे विस्मरण, द्वेष, मृत्यू नाही,

जिथे भक्ती, प्रीती, आनंद राही,

अशा माझ्या माहेरलोकात मला न्यावे।

→ Take me to that divine homeland —

where there is no ignorance, hatred, or death,

where only devotion, love, and bliss remain.

माहेराहून इथे पाठवले कशाला?

तुझे स्वरूप संसारातून कळायला?

तुझा साक्षात्कार पुन्हा व्हावा म्हणुनी!

→ Why was I sent away from my heavenly home to this world?

Perhaps to realize Your true nature through worldly life,

and to experience Your divine presence once again!

तुझा विरह-दुःख असला तरी,

अखंड स्मरण-सुख ही आहे,

तू मला तुझ्या सारखा निर्गुण करु पाहतोस का?

→ Though separation from You is painful,

constant remembrance of You brings unending joy —

Are You trying to make me like Yourself (Nirguna)— beyond all qualities?

“अहं ब्रह्मास्मि” म्हणतो मी,

मला तू बनवू पाहतोस का?

तुझ्या सारखा अच्युत होण्यास अधीर मी।

→ You keep saying to me that "You are Brahman” (God says, "You and I are same"),

Is it You who makes me realize this truth?

I am restless to become like You — eternal, perfectionist and unchanging.

या लोकी खूप नाव कमावले तू,

लोकमान्य, कृपाळू, दयानिधी,

मला ही तुझे नाव दे रे!

→ You are famous in this world,

known as compassionate and merciful —

grant me also the honor of bearing Your name!

तुला अपेक्षित असे कार्य नित्य,

करून घे सारे लोककल्याणार्थ,

तव प्राप्त होईल परमानंद।

→ May I perform daily the deeds You desire,

for the welfare of all beings —

through that, I shall attain supreme bliss.

माहेरची आठवण येते जेव्हा,

तुझ्या स्नेहमय रूप स्मरते,

क्षणभर गो-लोक भेटून येते।

→ Whenever I miss my heavenly home,

I remember Your loving form,

and for a moment, I feel as if I have visited Golok itself.

आता एवढे सांग मज,

तुझी-माझी भेट घडवली जाणे,

असे श्रीसद्गुरुंचे ऋण फेडू तरी कसे?

→ Now tell me only this, O'Lord —

how can I ever repay the debt of the my Sadguru (Spiritual Master)

who made our earthly meeting possible?
